What Would B.B. Wear?

WWBBW Review: The Rockin Bettie “Broadway” Pencil Dress is Perfectly Wicked!

I think I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw an advertisement for Rockin Bettie’s “Broadway” pencil dress. As soon as I spotted it, I wanted to own it!

I was drawn to the curve-hugging silhouette, the detailed off-shoulder bodice, and the detailed hemline of this dress. I pondered over whether or not to buy it. I couldn’t think of an event worthy of its presence, but after a tiny nudge from the awesome Rockin Bettie staff, and the realization of the perfect occasion to wear it, I decided to purchase it.

I wore my “Broadway” dress recently to see “Wicked” on Broadway in New York City! Although I love my heels, I paired the dress with my Tory Burch Miller sandal, which was perfect for my evening at the theatre.

I probably should have taken a picture at the beginning of my “night at the theatre” instead of at the end of it—this chick was tired—but I felt and looked cute in my “Broadway” dress!

The dress is very comfortable and it has a lot of stretch. It was perfect for climbing in and out of the cab on the busy streets of NYC, and it was great for walking through the crowds of the nightlife. I received lots of compliments that I graciously accepted.

I normally wear a size 18 or XXL in dresses, but I followed the recommendations in the description and purchased a size XL, and as you can see, it fits like a dream. I am extremely satisfied with the look and quality of the dress.

Prior to my aforementioned scroll through Instagram, I didn’t know anything about Rockin Bettie. I came to learn it is a boutique established by Amy Ortiz and it is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The boutique carries Pinup, Rockabilly, and Vintage styles for men and women in sizes XS to 4X. They also carry a variety of gifts and housewares for everyone, including kids.

I am more than happy with my purchase and I’ve already made a second one. I snagged the “Charade Stand Collar jumpsuit” that I plan to wear with my Kate Spade “gogo taxi flats.” I think I may be in an “Empire state of mind.”

Rockin Bettie is definitely on the WWBBW “yes” list. I have my eye on three more dresses! I encourage you to check them out if you haven’t already. Their pieces are great and the customer service is superb!

Stay tuned for my review on the jumpsuit and flats!

Until the next time be you—and more important—love you.

Being uniquely you is being uniquely beautiful.
